The African Library Project [Malealea, 10/13/2017]

The African Library Project decided to “introduce the idea of reading” to Malealea in 2004. They partnered with the Malealea Development Trust to collect books at the Malealea Community Center. MDT staffers open the library to children twice a week for two hours after school and I attended these library hours. These photos were commissioned for the MDT website ahead of the MDT’s participation at the African Library Project Summit in November, 2017.
