Children’s Day [Malealea, 10/28/2017]

The Malealea Development Trust gathers all village children at the Community Hall on the last Saturday of every month for a day of discussion and games. MDT Social Worker Maphakiso Kelepa and Field Worker Tsotang Monyane plan the day’s events. They discuss self-esteem, HIV prevention, gender roles, and the importance of education, among any other topics. I attended October’s Children’s Day. These photos were commissioned for the MDT’s Website
